Pastor Dave is not a stranger to Marshalltown or to Faith Church. He was born and raised in Marshalltown and graduated from MHS in 1985 returning home to pastor his home church after 26 years of being away. He has been married to his wife, Charlotte, for 31 years and they have three children, Lane, Clay and Abigail, two daughter in-laws, Marissa and Rachel, and ONE grandson, Grayson, along with two toy Poodles, Sammie and her daughter Puddles.

Pastor Dave loves spending time with his wife, family, church family, and playing golf. He is a huge fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, He loves taking his wife and family to Florida to see family, go to Disney World, spending time relaxing at the beach and playing as much golf as he can. If you go to his office you discover quickly his hobby of collecting memorabilia!

FUN FACTS ABOUT PASTOR DAVE

Pastor Dave was the Infield Chaplain for the Indy Series and NATIONWIDE racing events at the IOWA SPEEDWAY for 2013. He has played golf at PINEHURST #2 where the US OPEN has been played and at SAWGRASS where the TPC takes place in May. He did a NICKELODEON commercial in 1990 on his honeymoon in Florida. He got his only HOLE-IN-ONE at the American Legion Golf Course on Memorial Weekend in 2000 while playing with his dad and friend Kevin. In 2018 he got his first ALBATROSS on hole 12 at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown with his wife.
